The Capital Region American Advertising Awards (playfully nicknamed the ADDY Awards) looked a bit different this year — it was held virtually on the evening of March 5, 2021.

But that doesn’t mean it was any less eventful for the Elevation Ten Thousand team.

To help create buzz and excitement, the Capital Region Advertising Federation (Craf) put together movie night-themed swag boxes with goodies from local businesses like Krause’s Candy.

Perfect for a fun evening watching colleagues be awarded for their efforts.

This year E10K took home seven trophies — five silver trophies and two gold trophies.

The work our marketing agency submitted spanned a variety of industries including automotive, higher education, fine jewelry, a youth training camp, and others.

“In the past year, the pandemic challenged us to think differently and reimagine the customer journey for our clients,” said E10K President David Miclette. “ Every member of the Elevation Ten Thousand team excelled at that challenge and the gold- and silver-level ADDY awards our team earned this year is a reflection of that.” Each award-winning piece showcases our diverse talents and dedication to our clients.

Gold ADDY Awards

The evening began by taking home two gold ADDY trophies.

The first award was in the Film, Video & Sound — Branded Content & Entertainment for Online Film, Video & Sound — Single Entry — More than :60 Seconds category for our useful POV walkthrough for the Albany Law School Virtual Tour.

Last, but certainly not least, was our win in the Film, Video & Sound — Advertising Industry Self-Promotion Film, Video & Sound category for our very own E10K showreel.

“I am extremely proud of the incredible work our team has created and am looking forward to the creative projects that will develop throughout what is sure to be a landmark year for our company,” Miclette continued.

Silver ADDY Awards

The evening was capped off by taking home a silver ADDY in the Online/Interactive — Websites — Consumer category for the design and development of the Grind Time Training website.

“Working with Grind Time Training on their new website was definitely my favorite project of the year. I’m a big sports fan so whenever I get a chance to work on something sports-related it’s a real treat. Will Harris at Grind Time Training was great to work with. He trusted me and gave me the freedom to do my thing,” said Michael Farrell, Director of Design & Development at E10K.

Grind Time Training aims to have a positive impact on the youth in our surrounding communities through basketball training.

The opportunity to create a website that has a meaningful impact on communities throughout the Capital Region makes what we do truly unique.

“Since the site launched, I’ve been enjoying watching his program grow with new coaches and training sessions. So I’d like to thank him for giving us the opportunity to work with a great organization,” Farrell continued.
