Matthew Elton

Meet Matthew Elton, a talented video producer with 15 years of experience in the film and TV industry. Originally from Glens Falls, NY, he has lived and worked in various cities, currently calling Albany, NY, home. Matthew’s passion for storytelling and documentary filmmaking led him to work on projects such as a PBS documentary, a music documentary series, and an upcoming Netflix documentary. He has also lent his skills to TV commercials and educational videos, both as a video producer and video editor.

Inspired by film and TV, Matthew finds creativity in the marketing world, deriving ideas from brand stories and everyday experiences. He’s passionate about helping others reach their full potential, often by providing an outlet for people to tell their stories. Besides being an accomplished video producer, Matthew has a hidden talent — he speaks, reads, and writes basic Mandarin Chinese. Outside of work, he enjoys kayaking and biking and has a diverse taste in music, favoring genres like pop, folk, hip hop, R&B, and classic soft rock.

A storyteller by nature, Matthew sees brands not merely as a product or service to be marketed, but as a story to be brought to life. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Film from Messiah College and has studied cinematography at Temple University. While documentary filmmaking has been his primary focus, Matthew aspires to venture into narrative film as either a cinematographer or director, crafting stories that resonate with audiences.
